We all love this character and uniquely as Johnny Depp creates all his characters...we particularly LOVE THIS ONE.   Johnny modeled this persona after a ROCK BAND guitarist, ROLLING STONES Keith Richards.   Johnny felt that PIRATES today would be the ROCK BAND STARS.   Similar 'look' and wild free flowing way they embrace the stage and music and fans.   He modeled how Jack Sparrow spoke from Keith too.   Disney though he was 'drunk' but, no...just how JOHNNY invented the persoality of this character.   WE LOVE HIM...

Celebrating this 20 year anniversary of our MEETING JACK SPARROW and the many films about this character and the Charity Hospital work Johnny does with his character of Jack for sick children and parents that need a moment of levity and upliftment.    

In Johnny Depp's defamation tril he was asked about JACK SPARROW character and as we watched the questioning Johnny Depp remarked...Johnny Depp agreed with his attorney that “nothing on this earth,” including “$300 million and a million alpacas,” would get to him to play Jack Sparrow again. But that was before Amber Heard was found guilty of defamation against her ex-husband. Now, a former-Disney executive is certain Depp will return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

“I absolutely believe post-verdict that Pirates is primed for rebooting with Johnny as Capt. Jack back on board,” an unnamed “former Walt Disney Studios executive” told People. “There is just too much potential box-office treasure for a beloved character deeply embedded in the Disney culture.” 

WILL HE RETURN...one of his most iconic roles...people say Johnny will even without the Lamas...

The book was a fascinating read.. I never followed the trial, yet this book not only gave me insights of the trial , it kept me super interested in the read. Recommend especially if you were glued to your seat during the trial, but as a reader with not much insight on the trial it was eye opening. Great read!
